The Admission Requirements listed below must be received by the application deadline date (unless otherwise noted) to be eligible for admission to the Radiation Therapy program:
Gateway: Must complete a summer application, summer start program
Manchester: Must complete a fall application
Anatomy & Physiology I, C or greater, within 5 years of application
Anatomy & Physiology II, C or greater, within 5 years of application or can be in progress during spring semester of application year
English Composition, C or greater
Precalculus, C or greater, within 5 years of application
Must attend Campus-specific Radiation Therapy Information Session within one year prior to the application deadline of February 1st.
Radiation Therapy Admission GPA of 2.7 or greater based only on the college courses with grades of C or greater that meet the Radiation Therapy admission requirements (English Composition, Anatomy & Physiology I, Anatomy & Physiology II (if completed), Precalculus) and Radiation Therapy program curriculum requirements, if completed, (Public Speaking or Interpersonal Communications, General Psychology, General Biology. English Composition II and Literature).
Applicants to Radiation Therapy, Gateway ONLY must complete a summer application and must successfully complete RST 1000 - Introduction to Patient Care for Radiologic Sciences (2 credits) and RST 1000L - Introduction to Patient Care for Radiologic Sciences Lab (1 credit) during the summer of their acceptance year. Students need a minimum score of 75 in RST1000 and a "P" in RST1000L to move forward in their designated program. Additional information regarding these courses will be provided during the Accepted Student Orientation.
BIO 1210: General Biology is a required program curriculum requirement. Another science course may be substituted for BIO 1210: General Biology pending approval from the Program Coordinator.

Applicants applying to CT State Community College who meet the admission requirements may apply to multiple selective admissions programs (e.g., nursing, radiography and nuclear medicine). However, only one campus location may be chosen per selective admission program.
